Video Breakdown: What Richardson needs to fix from the Tech game

It was a long day for Iowa State quarterback Sam Richardson against Texas Tech last Saturday. He was 10 of 21 for 139 yards, one touchdown and three interceptions. He also got pulled in the fourth quarter of the 66-31 loss.

What happened?

Three words. Pressure and accuracy.

Both were a problem. Let’s break it all down.

The game didn’t start great for Richardson and pressure was the biggest reason for his interception on ISU’s first play. It was a play-action fake with Richardson rolling to his right. He never had time to look for his receivers.
