Men’s Basketball: Details of ISU/Colorado contract

Iowa State will be paid $125,000 for playing the University of Colorado in Sioux Falls, S.D., according to the contract obtained by the Ames Tribune via an open records request.

The agreement for the Nov. 13 game is with Sanford Frontiers, which operates the Sanford Pentagon arena in Sioux Falls. Sanford will also provide ISU with one night’s lodging, 40 game tickets and the ability to purchase 500 or more tickets to the game. Sanford will own the television rights to the game.

ISU went 25-9 last season and won its second consecutive Big 12 tournament championship.
