Just where Iowa State Cyclones head men’s basketball coach Fred Hoiberg will be next season remains up in the air, and school AD Jamie Pollard wants fans to calm down since nothing is set in stone yet.
You see, Hoiberg has been linked to a potential vacancy with the NBA’s Chicago Bulls, with whom he spent four seasons during his 10-year NBA career. The Bulls have yet to decide on where they stand with current head coach Tom Thibodeau, so saying that Hoiberg will definitely make the jump is pure speculation at this point.
Speaking to Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register, Pollard reiterated what he knew and urged fans to remain calm.
