DES MOINES — Competing in her first Drake Relays, Iowa State freshman Jhoanmy Luque already has secured a medal. Today, she’ll look to collect another.
Luque landed at 19 feet, 9 inches to take fourth in the University/College division at Drake Stadium on Friday morning.
“I felt fine,” Luque said. “I think it’s OK for this week. Last week, I went to Lousiana and was pretty good.
