A week after Derrick Mitchell Jr announced his decision to transfer out of Iowa football, on Tuesday, wide receiver Jonathan Parker announced he will do the same.
Parker, who originally committed to Iowa as a running back but switched to wide receiver after his freshman season, did not play in 2016 as a junior. A preseason injury caused him to miss the first couple weeks of the season.
That said, he did have a sizable role as a freshman as a kick returner and running back. He returned 24 kickoffs as a freshman, averaging 22.
