The Iowa Basketball team has found themselves inside the Associated Press’ top 5 for the last three weeks. This week, Iowa comes in at No. 4 behind Villanova, Maryland, and Oklahoma.
The Hawkeyes went 2-0 this past week playing teams that aren’t exactly world beaters in the Penn State Nittany Lions and the Illinois Fighting Illini. However, it wasn’t just the fact that Iowa beat them, it was the way Iowa beat them.
The Hawkeyes absolutely crushed the Nittany Lions to the point where the most exciting action was in the stands and they went on the road and had control of the game against Illinois for at least 30 of the 40 minutes.
