    IOWA CITY, Iowa -- Sophomore Nick Gallagher pitched seven shutout innings in relief to lead the University of Iowa baseball team to a 2-1 victory in the opening game of a Sunday doubleheader at Duane Banks Field.

    The Iowa City, native, entered with two on and nobody out in the third and retired the first 13 batters he faced.
