IOWA CITY, Iowa -- University of Iowa sophomore Tereysa Lehnertz and UI graduate and volunteer assistant coach Deidre Freeman will compete in the 2015 Pan American Games from July 12-16 in Toronto.
“It’s exciting to have such a great Iowa presence at the 2015 Pan Am Games in Toronto,” said UI head coach Marc Long. “It’s a tremendous honor for these Hawkeyes to represent their country at this prestigious international event.”
Lehnertz will compete for Puerto Rico in the 100 and 200-meter butterfly. The Iowa City, Iowa, native will swim in the 200 fly on July 14 and 100 fly on July 16.
