IOWA CITY, IOWA - - University of Iowa strength and conditioning coach Chris Doyle will be featured on the Tom Lemming Report on CBS Sports Network, Friday at 6 p.m. CT.

Doyle is featured on a 15-minute segment of the show with Tom Lemming, a national college recruiting analyst.  Doyle and Lemming discuss the development of players during their college careers, as it relates to strength and conditioning.

Doyle has served in his position as Iowa’s strength and conditioning coach for 13 years.  He was named Big Ten Conference Strength Coach of the Year in 1999 by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and he was one of 20 nominees for the Professional of the Year Award.

Doyle has tutored 155 student-athletes who have advanced to the professional ranks in the NFL, NHL and NBA.  Iowa has had a total of 30 players selected in the past seven NFL drafts, including six players in both the 2010 and 2011 drafts.  Thirty-nine Hawkeyes have been drafted over the past nine years and an additional 31 Iowa players have signed free agent contracts in the past six years.
