Henry Anderson has vivid, if not fond, memories of his first taste of the NFL.
This was back in January 2015 at the Senior Bowl. It’s a college all-star showcase where prospects come to display their skills for NFL teams. If you get an invite, you’re likely going to be playing on Sundays.
So, Anderson went to Mobile, Ala., hoping to prove himself worthy of having his name called during the NFL draft. He ended up getting more than be bargained for.
“It was really my first time going against elite competition, where everyone you’re going against was an NFL-caliber lineman,” said Anderson, now an Indianapolis Colts defensive tackle.
