The Indianapolis Colts are playing for their playoff lives when they travel to take on the New York Jets Monday night. Despite the Colts still being in playoff contention while the Jets are not, the Football Power Index gives the Colts only a 39 percent chance to win.
A Colts win Monday night increases their chances of making the playoffs by 18 percent, to approximately 30 percent. So the Colts' realistic playoff chances are truly dependent on a win. In order to advance their cause, though, they will have to find a way to address their glaring weakness on the defensive end.
