No one could have pegged Doyle as the team’s second-leading receiver back in September, but there he was at the end of the season catching 59 balls for 584 yards and five touchdowns.
The trust Andrew Luck has in Doyle was seen throughout several critical moments in 2016.
Whether it was game-winning touchdowns against the Titans or Jaguars, or a third-down play to help ice the game in Green Bay, Doyle stepped up when the Colts needed him the most.
