New York Jets vs. Indianapolis Colts Preview And Prediction

The Indianapolis Colts are searching for their first win of the season after losing to the Buffalo Bills in Week 1. The New York Jets had little issue with the Cleveland Browns, winning 31-10. So who will walk away victorious on Monday Night Football? Here's our preview and prediction.

Line: Colts by 6.5

What's At Stake:

It's still early in the year, so this game won't make or break anyone season. If the Colts win, they'll be back in the driver's seat in the AFC South. Even if they lose, they'll only be a game back of the Tennessee Titans and Jacksonville Jaguars. For the Jets, a win allows them to keep pace with the New England Patriots in the AFC East. The winning team will get a confidence boost as well.

Key To The Game:

The Colts' offensive line must do a better job this week. It struggled to protect Andrew Luck and failed to open up any holes for Frank Gore. The Jets have a strong front and could dominate. The Jets need their defense to step up, because their offense doesn't appear to be anything special.

What They're Saying About The Colts:

T.Y. Hilton Should Play

Andre Johnson Needs To Step Up

Colts Must Force Jets To Pass

What They're Saying About The Jets:

Jets Optimistic Antonio Cromartie Can Play

Jets Defense Fine Without Rex Ryan

Jets Have Chance To Change Perception

Prediction: Colts Win 24-17

Andrew Luck doesn't get as much time in the pocket as he'd like, but it's enough for him to guide the Colts to a win over the Jets. The Jets play well on defense, but an anemic offense is their undoing. The Colts win the turnover battle, and that proves to be the difference.
