Sycamores Walk Off Eastern Illinois to Win Fourth Straight, 2-1

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – played hero Tuesday afternoon at Bob Warn Field when he walked off the Sycamores for the second-straight game as ISU defeated regional foe Eastern Illinois, 2-1.

Indiana State (11-9) was off and running from the start as senior continued his tear at the plate with a first-pitch home run to lead off the game; his fifth homer of the season, but the Sycamore bats would be held at bay for much of the remainder of the game.

With the bases loaded and one out in the second, the Sycamores hit into a 1-2-3 double play to end the threat before being held to just one hit over the next four innings, which included 10-straight being sat down by Panthers starting pitcher Brendon Allen.
