ST. LOUIS – Four Sycamore Football student-athletes have been named to the Missouri Valley Football Conference All-Academic Team, the Valley announced Wednesday morning.
Senior LB Jameer Thurman (3.59, Civil Engineering Technology) and sophomore QB Isaac Harker (3.7, Economics) were both named to the Second Team, while senior All-American long snapper Joshua Appel (3.5, Finance) and senior WR Robert Tonyan Jr. (3.22, Physical Education) were both named Honorable Mention.
Appel (First Team), Thurman (Second Team) and Tonyan (Second Team) were also honored as members of the All-MVFC team on Monday morning.
The MVFC All-Academic Team is selected exclusively by MVFC sports information directors.
