Bats Power Sycamores Past Shockers in Series Opener, 13-6

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – Indiana State hit a season best four home runs Thursday night at Bob Warn Field to take down the visiting Shockers of Wichita State, 13-6 in the series opener. The victory moved the Sycamores to 26-23 overall and 11-8 in the Missouri Valley Conference, needing just one more win this weekend to clinch the No. 3 seed for the upcoming MVC Tournament.
