Paul George sits out second half in Team USA’s 107-57 win over China

Paul George played almost ten minutes in the first half of Team USA’s 107-57 route of China on Tuesday night, but did not return to play in the second half due to a strained left calf.

Due to the nature of the lopsided game and the ability to give other wing players more minutes, it is likely PG’s calf strain is minor and a convenient diagnosis to give others some burn alongside Kevin Durant and Klay Thompson playing in their home arena.

Durant made himself right at home in his new home at Oracle Arena, draining a long three-pointer a few seconds after the opening tip.
