Pacers News: Indiana Refurbishes RISE Learning Center

As part of the Indiana Pacers success Eastern Conference Finals trip last season, the NBA supplied $5,000 to help refurbish RISE Learning Center, which is a 100% special needs school for ages 5-22. The donation was matched by the Pacers Foundation.

On Wednesday, Pacers players George Hill and Chris Copeland will participate in a ribbon-cutting ceremony to unveil the Pacers Learn and Play Center at RISE Learning Center.

The renovation will consist of the following:

Fitness Center (where unveiling will take place):

  • New exercise flooring
  • New painting
  • Pacers graphics, logos and images
  • New fitness equipment
  • Flat screen TV

More refurbishments took place in the Computer Lab, Apartment, and Multi-Purpose Rooms to include:

  • Refreshed and updated paint in all rooms
  • New books
  • New furniture and appliances
  • New desktop computers
  • New tablets
  • New flat screen TVs
  • New board games
  • New tablet charging station
  • Wii gaming system and games
