Hoosiers crush Iowa, advance to face Maryland

In just the second Big Ten series of the season, Indiana went to Iowa City and had its regular season title hopes dashed by the Hawkeyes as they fell to 1-4 before the conference slate really ever got going. But Friday, they kept their quest for a 3rd straight Big Ten tournament title alive by bombarding Iowa with 13 hits and 10 runs.

After Wednesday's loss to Michigan, Chris Lemonis noted that his team was built to go through a loser's bracket. He was referencing his unbelievably deep pitching staff, which includes 12 players he could put on the mound and feel at least somewhat comfortable sending out there.
