Junior Michael Ward of the men's cross country team is the Bradley Athlete of the Month for November, announced on Wednesday.
In November, Ward became the first Brave in school history to compete at the NCAA Division I Men's Championship, where he placed 71st in the country (of 251) runners. The junior earned his invitation after finishing ninth at the NCAA Midwest Regional. He posted the best individual result in the program's history to earn All-Midwest Region honors, while also leading Bradley to a fifth-place finish as a team – the school's best result by four places.
