NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State soccer team (6-5-1) dominated both offensively and defensively on Sunday afternoon in their 4-1 victory over the IUPUI Jaguars (6-4-1). As they celebrated Senior Day and held on through a weather delay, the Redbirds controlled the game from start to finish.
"I thought we did very well today," head coach Eric Golz said. "There were a lot of variables that we had to deal with. I thought the players did a very good job of getting off to a great start, going up 3-0 in the first half is a great way to start the match.
