NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State swimming team will travel to Terre Haute, Indiana, Friday to compete against the Indiana State Sycamores in their first-ever home meet at the Vigo County Aquatic Center at 6 p.m. Indiana State's women's swimming program is in its first year.
The Redbirds last swam in a double dual meet in Champaign, Illinois, on Oct. 22, suffering losses to both Southern Illinois (171-110) and Illinois (200-81), respectively.
"We are very excited to swim Indiana State this Friday," ISU head swimming coach Scott Cameron said. "This will be our first opportunity to see them in a dual meet, and it will be a great chance to see where we are at in training as we take on a conference opponent.
