Two straight losses have sent the Illinois State football team tumbling in the major FCS national rankings.
ISU (2-2) dropped from No. 9 to No. 18 in the STATS poll after a 34-31 loss to Indiana State. The Redbirds slipped to No. 19 according to Hero Sports and stand at No. 20 in the listing of the FCS Coaches Poll.
