ANTWERP, Belgium — Former Illinois State star point guard Paris Lee has signed a contract to play professional basketball in Belgium for the Port of Antwerp Giants, who compete in the Belgian League and FIBA Europe Cup.
Located in Antwerp, Belgium, the Giants play at the 5,218-seat Lotto Arena. The team was formed in 1995 and has won two Belgian Supercup titles (2007, 2016), two Belgian Cup titles (2000, 2007) and one Belgian Championship crown (2000).
Lee was the Missouri Valley Conference Larry Bird Player of the Year and MVC Defensive Player of the Year this past season as a senior.
