NORMAL, Ill. – On their final day in full pads before the Redbirds' annual Fan Fair scrimmage, the Illinois State football team took to Hancock Stadium for the 16th day of camp.
Before a series of individual sessions, the Redbirds' special teams got to work with kickoff returns. Christian Uphoff ran for 20 yards before Bryce Jefferson returned for 42 yards – the best on the day. James Robinson also got in the mix with a 29-yard return of his own before the session ended.
In the team's perimeter drill, Jake Kolbe went 6-for-8 with completions to Anthony Fowler, Spencer Schnell, Tylor Petkovich, Timothy McCloyn II, and Robert Gillum.
