PEORIA –Bradley unveiled its men’s basketball nonconference schedule over a five-hour period Thursday on Twitter, beginning with the Nov. 11 opener against IUPUI and ending with the Dec. 22 rematch at Mississippi.
Each half hour between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. a new opponent on the 13-game schedule was revealed online. Most were known, aside from dates, because of previously contracted games. But two new home contests -- Nov. 25 vs. Georgia Southern and Dec. 13 against Little Rock -- have just been added recently.
“Social media has continued to gain in popularity and is a common source for news in today’s culture,” said Jason Veniskey, BU assistant director of athletic communications.
