Bill Cubit's status as future head coach of the Fighting Illini may be up in the air, but that hasn't stopped him from hitting the recruiting trail. The latest addition to the program is class-of-2016 running back/corner back Devin Singletary, who gave a verbal commitment to the program on Tuesday via Twitter.

The Delray Beach, FL native is only rated as a two-star recruit by 247Sports, but he held other offers from Florida State, Miami (FL), North Carolina, and Wake Forest.
