They already have two guards committed in Javon Picket and Da’Monte Williams. These two will help build a backcourt that will be feared in the Big Ten.
Illinois also has 5-star center Jeremiah Tilmon signed up for 2017 as well. He is going to be a nightmare for opposing players in the paint.
This would leave three scholarships open for the class of 2017 and 2018.
It is believed by people, including myself, that Illinois is right on track to secure two more commitments.
One of these commitments is from talented combo forward-guard Jordan Goodwin and the other is from rising point guard Trent Frazier.
