It was reported today by the Indy Star that Scruggs is no longer taking a visit to Illinois because Trent Frazier committed to the program a week ago.
The Indy Star has a quote from Scruggs’ AAU coach Mike Peterson saying the following.
“(The Illinois coaching staff) was awesome in letting us know the situation,” Peterson said. “It was a tough conversation but a good one.”
What should we make of this news as Illinois fans?
Well, Scruggs is an elite level player. He is rated as a 4-star combo-guard out of Indianapolis, Indiana.
