SPOKANE, Wash. – It was an excellent day at the 2017 Sam Adams Invitational for Idaho track and field with a number of athletes earning individual titles on Friday.

Kaleala Bass came out on top in the 400-meters, dominating the race by nearly three seconds and finishing in 58.16 seconds, her personal best and the eighth fastest time in the Big Sky this year. Erin Hagen earned first in the 800-meters by better than four seconds at 2:16.89. The women's 4x100-meter relay team of Rechelle Meade, Nicole Carter, Maddy Dustin and Jordyn Rauer won the event with a time of 49.
