BOONE, N.C. - Coach Paul Petrino praised the grit and determination of his Idaho Vandals but Appalachian State made the most of any miscue and won 37-19 in Sun Belt Conference action Saturday at kidd Brewer Stadium.
Austin Rehkow was four-for-four to account for 12 of Idaho's points, while Trent Cowan scored the lone touchdown on his 10th catch of the game. The eight-yard reception with four seconds remaining gave him 118 yards for the game.
