Broncos outswim Vandals
The Idaho swim and dive team fell to Boise State 164-128. Sophomore Janelle Lucas took first in the 3-meter diving competition with a 290.48, followed by fellow Vandal junior Maren Seljevold with a 280.77.
Junior Nikki Imanaka earned a victory in the 1-meter competition with a 279.52. Sophomore Emily Kliewer finished second in the 100-meter butterfly with a 57.49, 1-100th of a second behind the victory.
“We competed well against a well-coached and talented team,” head coach Mark Sowa said in a news release. “Coming off three good weeks of training, I thought our approach was good and we showed poise in most races.
