Manchester United to face Hull in EFL Cup semi-final on a Thursday

The dates for the semi-finals of the EFL Cup have been released, with Manchester United's second leg against Hull taking place on a Thursday.

Wednesday night's draw pitted the Red Devils against the Tigers in the last four, while Southampton and Liverpool will also square up for a place in the Wembley final.

United will entertain their north east opponents in the first meeting of the sides on Tuesday, January 10 before travelling to the KCOM Stadium for the rematch on Thursday, January 26.

Liverpool, meanwhile, will travel to St Mary's on Wednesday, January 11 before hosting the Saints at Anfield on Wednesday, January 25.
