Hull have made a £1million offer for Oxford United forward Marvin Johnson.
New Tigers boss Leonid Slutsky has identified the 26-year-old as one of his main targets ahead of the transfer deadline.
Johnson is wanted by host of Championship sides, but Hull have made a concrete move for the former Motherwell man.
The attacker was one of Oxford’s top performers last season, scoring six goals for the League One club.
He has already opened his account this season, scoring in Oxford’s EFL Cup defeat against Cheltenham on Tuesday night.
