Hull can cash in on formidable home form in make-or-break vs. Burnley

It was back in autumn when Hull City first fell into the Premier League's relegation zone. A 2-0 loss at home to Stoke City on Oct. 22 confirmed the end of Mike Phelan's honeymoon and ever since the Tigers have been a constant among the dreaded bottom three.

A total of 126 days will have been chalked up on the metaphoric prison walls by the time Burnley arrive at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday, but City have enjoyed few chances quite like this to launch their escape.

Against opponents who have taken just one point from a possible 33 on their travels this season, the Tigers have been patiently waiting for an opportunity like the one that will present itself this weekend.
