WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va. – As soon as the Texans took the field for their first training camp outside Houston, all eyes were on the quarterbacks.
Tom Savage is the starter. Deshaun Watson and Brandon Weeden are the backups. Fans and media were watching Savage and Watson closely.
No player knows the quarterbacks better than receiver DeAndre Hopkins.
"I think Tom (Savage) and I completed every ball he threw," Hopkins said.
Savage and Hopkins are building a special rapport off the field they hope can translate onto the field.
