The Texans are finished with their first three organized team activities (OTA) and start week 2 on Tuesday. The fourth-year veteran said he was happy to cut loose with the first team offense and be back on the field.
"It’s going great," Savage said Tuesday. "It’s fun getting out there and competing against the guys. Obviously, the offense – well, it’s May now, so we’re just working right now, just trying to become the best team we can be.”
After a pair of starts and coming off the bench in a third game last season, Savage entered OTAs as the starter under center.
