Matt Miller of Bleacher Report has released his latest NFL mock draft and he has the Houston Texans using the 25th overall pick on Texas Tech quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
WalterFootball.com has Mahomes as the third ranked quarterback in this year’s draft.
Some team sources are intrigued by Mahomes, but others are skeptics. Mahomes has a good arm and has flashed the ability to be a pocket passer. He also has athleticism with functional mobility to buy time and pick up some yards on the ground. Mahomes is a sleeper who could be a steal.
