Houston Texans: Safety James Ihedigbo rumored to be interested in team

With training camp for veterans starting one week from Saturday, the Houston Texans more than likely are content with the players they have currently under contract. That doesn’t mean that feeling won’t change and if it does one player who wouldn’t mind joining the Texans is veteran safety James Ihedigbo.

The 32-year old Ihedigbo was undrafted out of Massachusetts in 2007 and has played for the New York Jets, New England Patriots, Baltimore Ravens and most recently the Detroit Lions.

Listed as a strong safety, Ihedigbo has been a regular starter for much of his career and has 378 career tackles with nine sacks and eight interceptions.
