Now with the Cleveland Browns, quarterback Brock Osweiler prefers not to discuss his disastrous one-year tenure with the Texans.
Osweiler was traded to the Browns in a classic Moneyball style salary dump as they acquired the remainder of his $72 million contract in a trade. Getting rid of Osweiler cost the Texans their 2018 second-round draft pick and netted them a fourth-round draft pick.
Osweiler repeatedly clashed with Texans coach Bill O'Brien last season and struggled mightily with his accuracy and decision-making. Breaking his silence Wednesday for the first time since being traded to the Browns, Osweiler declined to address any past friction with the Texans organization.
