Jadeveon Clowney Won't Play In Week 6 For Texans

The Houston Texans will be without one of their best pass rusher in the team's Week 6 matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars.

OLB Jadeveon Clowney will not play, according to the Houston Chronicle. It's not the first time Clowney has missed significant time, as he missed nearly all of his rookie season with a knee injury. This time, it's an ankle sprain that will sideline Clowney. Clowney injured the ankle against the Indianapolis Colts last week.

Clowney has yet to record an NFL sack, but he's been one of the Texans' most disruptive players. With Clowney out, John Simon will get the start across from Whitney Mercilus.
