Texans Agree to Terms With Number One Pick Clowney

The Texans have agreed to a four year deal with the #1 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Jadeveon Clowney, according to longtime Texans reporter John McClain.

The terms of the deal are still emerging, but have been said to include $22.272 million guaranteed, including a $14.518 million signing bonus with a fifth year option.

Clowney played as a defensive end at South Carolina, but will likely transition to an outside linebacker position in Defensive Coordinator Romeo Crennel's system.

Here's another look at Clowney's posterizing hit on Michigan's Vincent Smith during the 2013 Outback Bowl.
