This time it is Brazilian point guard George de Paula. Though his name may sound like another person the Rockets are pursuing, he is, in fact, a different player (of course). De Paula is a talented guard with a decent amount of upside, but it is unclear what his role will be in Houston this year.
George de Paula was actually on my players that the Rockets should avoid drafting list. However, since they got him without using a draft pick, it may be good to see if he pans out or not. His numbers don’t particularly look fantastic, 10.
