Coaches have often said that the toughest game of a long road trip is the first game back home. For the Rockets, after a five-game road trip, that might not be as much of an issue after a travel day and a practice day, but Rockets coach Mike D'Antoni issued the warning, anyway.
"I heard that the first time when coach D'Antoni said it," Rockets guard Pat Beverley said. "That was the first time. Every game is like the same for me. I play every one like it's my last."
Still, in their past home game, the Rockets were blown out by the Raptors and D'Antoni said the Rockets had gotten "fat and happy" about a three-game winning streak.
