Rockets' Ryan Anderson to miss game with flu

Rockets forward Ryan Anderson was ruled out of Tuesday's game against the Miami Heat with the flu, moving Corey Brewer into the starting lineup at small forward and Trevor Ariza to power forward.

The Rockets had started Brewer in six games when guard Pat Beverley was out. Brewer has averaged 4.1 points per game on 40.9 percent shooting, but is second to Beverley on the Rockets in net rating with the Rockets outscoring opponents by 10.6 points per 100 possessions with Brewer on the floor.

The Heat's use of a smaller, perimeter-oriented lineup, with Luke Babbitt at power forward, helped enable the move of Ariza to power forward.
