Rockets Rumors: Houston Likely To Stand Pat On Sergio Llull

The Houston Rockets are hoping to sign Real Madrid's Sergio Llull, who has been a target of head coach Kevin McHale for some time. Houston has owned Llull's rights since 2009 when they purchased them from the Denver Nuggets for $2.25 million.

It was rumored that the Rockets were going to offer Llull a three-year, $17 million deal this offseason, but GM Daryl Morey shot that down by saying it was “not true.”

Llull was just a second-round pick (34th overall) , but is under contract with Real Madrid through 2019.
