Four Houston Dynamo players saw action in international play on Friday night, but only DaMarcus Beasley came away smiling.
Adolfo Machado started and played 87 minutes for Panama, who lost 1-0 to Trinidad & Tobago as Kevin Molino scored against the run of play in the 37th minute. The Panamanians put the ball in the back of the net in the 76th minute, but it was called back for a tight offside whistle. Panama dropped to 1-1-1 (4 points) in the Hex, third behind Mexico and Costa Rica.
The United States throttled Honduras 6-0 in what was billed as a must-win for the Americans in San Jose, California.
