Lack of heat has Astros’ bullpen pitching to Royals’ strengths

Will Harris, the Astros’ most taxed reliever in 2015 and maybe their most reliable, answered questions as other players put on jackets, packing their bags for Kansas City. The next game may be the last this group, a surprise to everyone in baseball, has together.

“It’s a tough one, man,” Harris said. “It’s tough to look these guys in the eyes.”

The Astros were so, so close to pushing forward before an improbable and deflating 9-6 loss to the Royals on Monday in Game 4 of the American League Division Series. The four straight singles Harris allowed to start the eighth inning at Minute Maid Park immediately set up a 6-2 lead to crumble.
