With the Astros leading 6-2 and just six outs away from advancing to the American League Championship Series, the office of Texas Governor Greg Abbott thought it would be a good idea to tweet out congratulations to the Astros.
Such a bad idea.
Shortly after the tweet – which was quickly deleted – the Kansas City Royals rallied for five runs in the eighth inning to take the lead.
Abbott has two Twitter profiles – both verified by Twitter. One of them – @GregAbbott_TX – is his billed as “Texas Governor Greg Abbott’s Personal Twitter Feed.
