With only three days left, it is not the time to be complacent and not vote Astros fans. Jose Altuve has a nice sizeable lead at second base over Starlin Castro, who will hit the DL today. Altuve has 2,925,041 votes ahead of Castro’s 1,737,446 votes. That’s almost 1,187,595 more votes than Castro.
The one surprise with the All-Star voting is that Robinson Cano is not in the top five with the fan voting. He did miss some time with an injury, but he is batting .279 with 13 homers and 51 RBIs.
